In a sort of way it is possible to appreciate that the city has a life of it’s own, beyond it’s inhabitants

Following with the series of videos about the cities (the first was the San Francisco Video, and then it was the Berlin Video)

The most amazing thing about this video is how does it makes The city of New York  look as a tiny model, like it had a life that we were able to see from another dimension.

This video was filmed with a technique called “Tilt Shift”, that simulates a smaller scenario than it really is, In a sort of way it is possible to appreciate that the city has a life of its own and where every actor of it takes a very serious part into this city that would not be able to work without all of them, and the music gives the scenario where these all takes place

It was the winner of the Prix Ars Electronica Award of Distinction 2010 and currently is nominated to the Webby Awards 2011 for Best Viral, Best Music. (music made by humanworldwide.com)

There is an interview to the director of the video where he explains how he did it and all the technical Mumbo Jumbo..
