[jwplayer config=”Complete Screen” mediaid=”1174″]

The LandfillHarmonic is a Documentary that shows how, in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Paraguay, the people has overcome their necessities using garbage to build their instruments, and to conform a philharmonic all made with recycled materials.
This particular philharmonic is called the Landfillharmonic

The life send us garbage and we send music back!, that’s the LandFillharmonic modjo, a pretty revealing one.
I picked up this video this week when it was being shared on Facebook and I found it amazing, the whole idea of people using rubbish to overcome their economic poverty is just amazing.

They are actually semifinalists of the Focus Forward competition to win $200.000,00 dollars so go to their page in Vimeo and vote for them.

watch this beautiful story and enjoy!

  • In my searchings, I have not been able to find annyoe making Christmas trees out of anything but vinyl (PVC). Don't get me started on nastiness of vinyl.Unless you have allergies, real trees are the way to go.If you hear of an artifical tree being made of something else, let me know.
